		<description>

Doris Qingyi Duanmu (she/her) is a designer and researcher based in New York City. Her work explores how design can engage collective interest and shape meaningful interventions for the public good, often through innovative mediums such as oral histories, board games, and graphic narratives. She is particularly interested in how everyday forms and personal accounts open up alternative perspectives on social, cultural, and ecological challenges, and in turn support processes of repair and renewal.

Doris is currently a project manager and designer at Interboro Partners, where she contributes to public realm projects at the intersection of architecture, urban planning, and community engagement. She has taught as an adjunct faculty at Boston Architectural College and Wentworth Institute of Technology, and worked as a researcher at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Doris holds a B.Arch from the University of Southern California and a Master of Science in Architectural Studies (SMArchS Urbanism) from MIT.
